Duties and Responsibilities:
- Designing, simulating, prototyping, and testing of electrical and electronic components and systems for use in programmable electronic cardiac stimulators.
- Designing and developing hardware for the purpose of cardiac stimulation signal generation and ECG signal processing
- Designing and integrated PCBA modules for medical devices
- Oversee the assembly, testing, and repair of electromechanical parts and equipment, ensuring adherence to technical specifications.
- Lead a team in examining, aligning, installing, and assembling components into completed units using various tools and instruments.
- Supervise the verification of dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure compliance with design specifications and / or external electrical safety standards
- Design automatic test software for use in testing embedded computer software
- Developing test procedures and equipment to test electronic components and systems.
- Developing and coordinate testing of functional performance and troubleshoot issues in completed assemblies.
- Ensure the repair, rework, and calibration of assemblies to meet operational standards.
- Provide leadership and technical guidance to the team, ensuring efficient workflow and quality control.
- Manage soldering and fitting of electrical and electronic components into specified locations.
Experience required:
At least 3 years of full-time relevant work experience.
Skills required:
- Engineer, bachelor degree-qualified in electronics, mechatronics or similar.
- Excellent technical communication and documentation skills.
- Proficient at using standard laboratory test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
- Attention to detail, patience & manual dexterity
- Good team player
- Communication skills
- Good electrical and mechanical prototyping and troubleshooting skills.
- Soldering experience
Annual salary package:
- 90k – 95k plus superannuation.
